No car for your PDA? We lease dual-control automatic and manual cars for the test, with a 45-minute warm-up lesson first so the car feels familiar before the examiner gets in.

How it works

Tell us your test details
Confirm the date, time and which licensing centre your PDA is booked at with the Department of Transport, then let us know. Please give us at least three days notice, we book out fast.

45-minute warm-up lesson
Right before the test, you get a 45-minute lesson in the car so the controls feel natural.

Sit your test in our car
We meet you at the DoT office for your centre. You drive the same car you warmed up in.

Everything for $145
- A dual-control automatic or manual car, kept in excellent condition and checked regularly for faults, lights and indicators
- A 45-minute familiarisation lesson before the assessment
- An instructor who knows the routes around your licensing centre
- $145 total, including the warm-up lesson
Your chances
Why a driving-school car helps
Examiners are more at ease in a car they can trust with working dual controls, and the pass rate is generally higher in a driving-school car than in a private one. You also avoid the stress of borrowing a car you are not used to on the most important drive of the week.

- We reserve the right to decline if a driver cannot operate the vehicle safely on the warm-up.
- Subject to availability, so book early, especially in school holidays.
- Available for all Perth metropolitan licensing centres.
Converting an overseas licence?
This service is open to overseas licence holders sitting the WA assessment. We strongly recommend at least a lesson or two first, because walking into the test without knowing what it involves makes it very hard to pass. Give us a call before you book the car.
